My name is Laurie and I want to thank you for your interest in Carry on Singing.
I’ve been singing, dancing and acting since I was a boy – and I can’t wait to start this journey with you!
I trained in Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting, and have since been involved in some wonderful productions both in London and other parts of the country. These include Salad Days at the Union Theatre, Plaid Tidings at the Bridge House Theatre, and Around The World in 80s Days at the Blackpool Grand Theatre – where I was privileged to be invited to arrange the music for an exciting new show, and then be part of the production, both on-stage and as Musical Director.
In between acting, I am also deeply passionate about teaching, something I’m privileged to be able to share with people aged 3 to 83, each and every week – teaching choirs, performing arts groups, and individual students throughout London and the South East.
In light of the current Coronavirus situation and government social distancing guidance, with performances and rehearsals postponed or cancelled, I’m excited to take my teaching online, and to be able to share my love for singing with as many people as possible.
Stay safe, and I hope to Carry on Singing with you soon!
